Dog Daycare FAQ — Panama City, FL

4.9 / 5 from 574+ reviews

The 15 most common daycare questions we hear from Panama City dog owners. Supervised play, size separation, and the only commercial-grade agility park in the area.

How much does dog daycare cost in Panama City?
Full-day daycare is $28, half-day is $18. Multi-day packages (5, 10, 20 days) are available at reduced rates, and FurPlan members get discounted daycare. See full pricing.
What are your daycare hours?
Drop-off: 7AM-10AM. Pickup: by 6PM Mon-Sat, by 2PM Sunday. Late pickups convert to boarding at standard nightly rates.
Does my dog need a temperament evaluation?
Yes. Every new daycare dog gets a free meet-and-greet and temperament evaluation on their first visit. It takes about 15 minutes and determines the best play group for your dog.
Do you separate dogs by size?
Yes — always. Small dogs (under 25-30 lbs) play separately from large dogs. We also separate by temperament and energy level within size groups. Read our guide on choosing the best daycare.
What vaccinations are required for daycare?
Current Rabies, DHPP (distemper/parvo combo), and Bordetella (kennel cough). All dogs must also be spayed/neutered after 6 months old.
Is play supervised?
Continuously. Trained attendants watch every play session and intervene the moment play gets too rough. We maintain safe staff-to-dog ratios at all times.
Do you have a dog agility park?
Yes! We are the only Panama City daycare with a full commercial-grade agility setup — jumps, tunnels, A-frames, weave poles, and tire jumps. Your dog gets real exercise and mental stimulation. See our daycare page.
Can puppies attend daycare?
Puppies 16 weeks and older with current vaccinations can attend. Early socialization is one of the best things you can do for a puppy. Read our puppy owner checklist.
What if my dog doesn't like daycare?
Not every dog is a daycare dog, and that's okay. If your dog shows signs of stress during the evaluation, we'll tell you honestly. We'd rather lose a customer than force a bad fit.
Is there a quiet area for breaks?
Yes. We alternate structured play with rest periods. Dogs who need a break have access to a quiet rest area separate from the active play groups.
Do you offer training along with daycare?
Daycare is focused on socialization and exercise. For training, we offer separate one-on-one sessions. See our dog training page. Many clients do daycare + training together for the best results.
Can I drop off early for work?
Drop-off starts at 7AM. If you need earlier arrangements, call us to discuss. We try to accommodate working schedules.
Do you provide food and water?
Fresh water is available at all times. We do not provide food — if your dog needs a meal during the day, bring pre-portioned food with instructions. Most daycare dogs eat at home before and after.
What happens if my dog gets injured during play?
Minor incidents (superficial scratches, etc.) happen in supervised play. For anything beyond minor, we contact you immediately and coordinate vet care. We carry liability coverage and have emergency vet contacts on file.
How do I book daycare?
Call (850) 257-5776 or book online. First-time dogs need to schedule a temperament evaluation, which we do during their first visit — no separate appointment needed.
